Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 5 June 2025  |  Effective Date: 5 June 2025

Please read these terms carefully before registering for any Anchorline session or using our website. By attending a workshop, joining the Community Learning Membership, or using our document organising service, you agree to the terms set out below. If anything is unclear, contact us at [email protected].

Scope Notice

All Anchorline sessions, materials, and membership activities are provided as general education, plain-language information, and administrative organising support only. Nothing on this website or in any Anchorline workshop constitutes individual financial, legal, or professional advice. We do not hold any regulated status. Participants are always encouraged to consult the relevant official bodies for their own circumstances.

1. About Anchorline

Anchorline provides educational workshops, document-organising assistance, and a community membership programme focused on pension and retirement records. We are based at 318 Charoen Nakhon Road, Khlong San, Bangkok 10600, Thailand. We are not a financial services provider, legal firm, or regulated advisory body, and nothing we offer should be understood as such.

2. Services Covered

These terms apply to all three of our current offerings:

  • Plain-Language Pension Glossary Workshop — a group session explaining common pension and provident-fund terminology, with a take-home reference glossary. ฿3,700 per person.
  • Document Digitising & Filing Help — hands-on administrative assistance scanning, naming, and organising retirement-related documents into a personal digital folder. ฿7,200 per engagement.
  • Community Learning Membership — year-round access to information sessions, a resource library, and a moderated peer discussion group. ฿11,800 per year.

Descriptions, availability, and pricing are subject to change. We will communicate changes to current Members by email before they take effect.

3. Scope of Our Services

Anchorline's offerings are educational and organisational in nature. We want to be clear about what they include and what they do not:

  • We share plain-language explanations of general pension and retirement concepts. We do not interpret your individual pension documents or give personal recommendations.
  • Our document organising service helps you create a tidy, searchable digital archive. We do not review the contents of your documents for accuracy, suitability, or completeness.
  • Community forum discussions are educational and peer-based. Contributions from other participants are their personal views; Anchorline does not endorse them.
  • No attendance at an Anchorline session constitutes a substitution for consultation with a qualified professional or with the relevant Thai or international authority.

4. Registration and Payment

Places at workshops and the Document Digitising service are confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Community Membership is annual and renews at the start of each membership year unless cancelled. Payment details are provided at the point of registration. All prices are stated in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by Thai law.

Anchorline reserves the right to decline or cancel a registration at its discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • More than 7 days before a session: Full refund of the session fee.
  • 3–7 days before a session: 50% refund or transfer to a later session at no extra charge.
  • Fewer than 3 days before a session: No refund; transfer to a later session may be arranged at our discretion.
  • Document Digitising service: Cancellation before work commences receives a full refund. Once work has begun, fees are charged pro-rata for work completed.
  • Community Learning Membership: Refunds are not available once a membership year has commenced, except where we are required by applicable Thai consumer law to provide one.
  • Anchorline-initiated cancellations: If we cancel a session for any reason, a full refund will be issued or a free transfer offered.

Refund requests should be sent to [email protected] with your booking reference.

6. Participant Conduct

We aim to maintain a respectful and supportive environment in all sessions and in the Community forum. Participants agree to:

  • Treat other participants and facilitators with courtesy.
  • Not share session recordings, written materials, or forum content outside of Anchorline without permission.
  • Not post promotional, misleading, or off-topic content in the Community forum.
  • Not attempt to solicit other members for commercial purposes.

Anchorline may remove a participant or revoke a Membership, with no refund of any remaining term, if these expectations are not met after a reasonable opportunity to address the matter.

7. Intellectual Property

All materials produced by Anchorline — including glossaries, reference guides, session slides, and resource library content — are our intellectual property. Participants receive a personal, non-commercial licence to use these materials for their own private reference. Redistribution, reproduction for commercial purposes, or resale of Anchorline materials is not permitted without written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

Anchorline's sessions and materials are educational resources. We take reasonable care to ensure that information shared is clear and general in nature. However:

  • We make no representation that the general information we share applies to any individual's specific circumstances.
  • We are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of content shared in our sessions or materials.
  • We are not liable for any loss, cost, or outcome arising from reliance on general information provided by Anchorline or its participants.
  • Our liability for any claim arising from the provision of a service shall not exceed the fee paid for that specific service.

These limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by Thai law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.

9. Personal Data

We collect and use personal data in connection with registrations and Membership. Our Privacy Policy sets out how we handle this data, your rights under the Thai Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562, and how to contact us about data matters.

10. Website Use

Our website is provided for informational purposes. You may not use it in any way that is unlawful, disruptive, or that infringes the rights of others. Links to third-party websites are provided for reference only; we are not responsible for their content or availability.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date. For material changes, current Members will be notified by email. Continued participation in sessions or Membership after revised terms are posted constitutes acceptance of those terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from them shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.
