Three Ways to Get to Grips with Your Records

Each offering is designed for a different stage of the journey — from first encounter with the terminology all the way to a fully organised digital archive and year-round learning community.

Our Approach

How We Structure Our Support

Understand the Language

Start with the Glossary Workshop if the words in your pension documents feel unfamiliar. One session, a take-home reference, and space to ask questions.

Organise What You Have

Once you can read your documents, the Digitising session helps you store and find them. You leave with a working digital archive structured around your own records.

Keep Learning Over Time

The Membership sustains that progress through monthly sessions, a resource library, and a peer forum that stays active between sessions.

All sessions are general education and organising support only. Nothing provided by Anchorline constitutes personal financial or retirement planning advice. Participants are always directed to the relevant official body for decisions specific to their own situation.

Session 01

Plain-Language Pension Glossary Workshop

A relaxed, guided session working through the 60 most common terms found in Thai provident fund statements, Social Security Office letters, and international pension correspondence. The goal is straightforward: by the end of the session, participants can pick up a pension document and understand what they are reading without needing to pause and search every other sentence.

The session is kept deliberately unhurried. Each term is explained, discussed, and placed in context before moving on. A printed take-home glossary is included so the material stays useful long after the session ends. General information only; personal matters are always directed to the appropriate official body.

What This Session Covers

  • Common Thai provident fund terminology (English equivalents provided)
  • Social Security Office benefit terms and what they refer to
  • International pension correspondence vocabulary
  • How to spot where to look for key information on a statement
  • Which office to contact for different types of query

Session 02

Document Digitising & Filing Help

A practical, hands-on session focused entirely on getting your physical retirement records into a clear, searchable digital archive. Many people have years of pension statements, contribution records, and benefit letters in various places — this session brings them together into a single organised structure you can navigate instantly.

The session is administrative and organising only — we do not interpret the contents of your documents or provide any comment on what they mean for your situation. That boundary is kept clearly throughout.

What the Session Produces

  • A complete digital scan of your brought documents
  • Files named consistently to a convention you choose
  • A folder structure built around your document types
  • A simple index so you can see what you have and what may be missing
  • Files delivered to your USB drive or email by end of session

How It Works

  1. 01

Get in touch to arrange a date and receive a brief checklist of what to bring

  2. 02

Arrive at our Khlong San office with your physical documents

  3. 03

We review what you have brought together, then begin scanning and naming systematically

  4. 04

Leave with a completed, organised digital archive on your drive or sent to your inbox
