Common Questions

Frequently Asked

What exactly happens in a Glossary Workshop?

The session works through the terms most commonly found in pension and provident-fund documents — things like vesting schedules, contribution periods, and beneficiary designations — and explains them in everyday English. You leave with a printed glossary to keep. Nothing in the session is personal advice; it is educational only.

Is the Document Digitising session done at my home or your office?

Sessions take place at our Bangkok office on Charoen Nakhon Road. You bring your physical documents and we work through scanning, naming, and folder organisation together. This keeps things tidy and ensures you leave with a working digital archive, not just a pile of image files.

Can you tell me whether my pension is set up correctly?

That falls outside our scope. Anchorline provides general education and organising support only — we are not a regulated advisory service and we do not assess individual pension arrangements. For questions about whether your specific fund is suitable, we would direct you to the relevant official body or a qualified financial professional.

How many people attend each workshop?

Glossary Workshops are capped at 10 participants so there is genuine space for questions. Community Membership sessions are slightly larger but still moderated to keep discussion focused and comfortable.

What does the Community Learning Membership include month to month?

Members attend information sessions held each month on rotating topics — from reading an annual pension statement to understanding common fund structures. Between sessions, the resource library and moderated peer forum remain open. All discussions are educational and no member provides personal recommendations to another.

Are sessions conducted in English only?

Yes, all sessions are in English and cover terminology from both Thai provident-fund documents and international pension paperwork. The glossary includes Thai-language terms alongside their plain-English meanings.

How do I pay and when do I confirm my place?

After getting in touch through the form below, we will send you session dates and payment details by email. Places are confirmed once payment is received. Fees are displayed in Thai Baht (฿) and we accept standard bank transfer.
